Spending time abroad as an exchange student gave you a unique opportunity for self-discovery. Now is your opportunity to pay the YFU experience forward. Open your home and heart to host an international student. Families of all shapes and sizes can host YFU students in their homes for three months, six months, or the entire academic year. Meet unplaced students in your area. As rewarding as your exchange experience was, being a host is equally as rewarding for your entire family.
Continue your global experience as a YFU volunteer. As a YFU volunteer, you can apply your experience while building friendships with other volunteers, alumni, and staff. YFU USA also has internship opportunities available, with preference given to YFU alumni.
