YFU USA offers the School Community Grant initiative to foster global citizenship within schools and communities. This initiative provides financial aid to students desiring to participate in international exchange programs, enabling them to experience and understand diverse cultures, languages, and societies. The grant underscores YFU USA’s commitment to cultivating a community of global citizens, promoting international understanding, and preparing the next generation for the increasingly interconnected world.

YFU USA School Community Grant
This program enables your high school to grant one student $1,000 off a YFU Study Abroad program for every YFU J-1 Visa international exchange student your school accepts for the 2025-2026 school year. Outbound students you choose as grant recipients must apply and be enrolled within two years of the grant approval to qualify.
*If you accept multiple YFU inbound students, you will receive a grant for each inbound student you accept. Multiple grants can not be awarded to individual students.
