Scholarship Amount

This is a full scholarship which covers 100% of tuition.

Tuition Includes

  • Round-trip airline travel (domestic & international)

  • Placement with a carefully selected host family

  • Regional orientation for scholarship recipients and parents

  • Preparatory materials

  • Pre-Departure Orientation (mandatory attendance)

  • 24 hour support services in host country

  • Comprehensive overseas Insurance

Applicant Eligibility

  • Meet the age requirements defined on the individual country pages

  • Be a U.S. citizen, national or permanent resident

  • Hold a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale

  • Demonstrate financial need through the completion of a FACTS application. FACTS is an independent, third-party that assesses student eligibility for tuition assistance. For information about FACTS and the application process, please download the FACTS Information Sheet

Scholarship Recipients are Responsible for

  • Passport

  • Visa fees (if necessary)

  • Any excess luggage tariffs

  • Personal spending money

  • Within one month of returning home, the student must provide a report and photos detailing their exchange experience.

  • Upon returning home, scholarship winners are expected to complete at least one presentation in their school or community to share their experiences, teach others about the culture in their host country, and encourage other students to participate in foreign exchange.

Scholarship winners will participate in a mandatory Pre-Departure Orientation.
