As we celebrate National Volunteer Week, we want to thank each and every one of you who have helped YFU to successfully carry out our mission and served as a vital link between students, families and the YFU network worldwide. YFU is a strong and vibrant organization because of you.

As YFU Founder Rachel Andresen said, “Everywhere you go, everywhere you look, and everywhere you listen in Youth For Understanding you find our volunteers. Some call them leaders, some call them volunteers – they’re both… Volunteers are basic to YFU, its operation and continuation, we couldn’t operate our program without volunteers, not one day in the year.”
