Memorial to Celebrate Life

Family and friends will gather in St Cloud tomorrow to celebrate the life of Alexander Voigt, whose tragic loss has been felt across the entire global YFU community. Tomorrow’s memorial will be held from 3 pm-8 pm at Rivers Edge Convention Center (2nd floor), 10 Fourth Avenue South, St. Cloud, MN 56301 and is open to the public. For those who knew this exceptional young man and would like to share their favorite memories or photos, or for those who may not have known him but would like to share your condolences, please email condolences@yfu.org or mail them to the address below and we will be sure Alexander’s families receive your notes.

If you want to talk to anyone about how this news is impacting you, counselors will be available at the memorial or you can contact the Four County Crisis 24-hour hotline at (320) 253-5555 or (800) 635-8008. Your Area Reps and local Support Services Managers are also available to talk.

Something this experience reminds us of is to always let our loved ones know how much they mean to us. Let your host families and natural families know how thankful you are for them. We all are touched by the outpouring of support by our YFU family for those impacted by this tragedy and ask that you continue to keep them in your thoughts.
