Aconcagua and Mt. Everest.  During YFU’s 60th Anniversary year, Towne was one of 12 volunteers in the world to be recognized for “providing a backbone to the efforts of YFU partners around the world,” and in 2017 YFU USA gave him its Distinguished Alumni Award. Andrew earned his Masters of Business Administration and Juris Doctor degrees from the Wharton School and the University of Pennsylvania Law School as a Morgenthau Scholar, Friedman Scholar, and Institute of Law and Economics Scholar. A member of the Minnesota Bar, Towne has worked for Goldman Sachs, CarVal Investors, the Central Intelligence Agency, and General Dynamics Corporation.
