EDUCATION SELECT F-1 VISA PROGRAM FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

The Education Select F-1 Visa Program offers you the journey of a lifetime to discover the best in yourself, change the way you see the world, and pursue your unique academic goals. It gives you the freedom to select the type of school you would attend, including obtaining diploma, continuing the sports or artistic pursuits that you’re passionate about, and who your host family would be. It doesn’t have the type of restrictions that many other exchange year programs, such as the J1 Exchange Visitor Programs, have. This program is open to students ages 14-18 who have not graduated from high school in their home country.

“My favorite part of attending high school in the US was having the experience of learning in a different system of education and meeting new friends. It was hard at first, however I managed to adapt to the subjects.
I joined soccer and basketball in the US, it was a good experience because you can motivate yourself to be better and make a lot of friends from it. ”

— Raka, Indonesia

“In this program, you can choose where you can go for school, like which school you prefer to go, just like what I did back then. I chose the school where they have baseball team because my dream was to be a baseball athlete at that time, and I hoped through this school I can get more a lot of baseball skills and I reached what I was hoping. ”
