The YFU Legacy Grant is available to YFU alumni’s family members and the families of volunteers and host families who have served for at least three months. The applicant must meet their chosen program’s age requirements and carry a minimum GPA (3.0 for year and semester students, 2.0 for summer students).

Scholarship Provisions
The scholarship goes toward YFU program tuition. Program tuition includes international and domestic airline travel, host family placement, orientation, preparatory materials, support, and comprehensive insurance.
Responsibilities for Grant Recipients
Recipients are responsible for their passport, visa fees, excess luggage tariffs, and personal spending. Post-trip, award winners must present their experiences in their school or community.
