2010 Worldwide YFU Video Contest Launched

2010 Worldwide YFU Video Contest!
Youth For Understanding has launched the second annual worldwide online video contest for YFU program participants, past and present. The theme of the contest will be "My World of YFU".
Students, alumni, host families and volunteers throughout the YFU community are invited to submit videos, which will put into pictures, sounds and music, exactly what it is to learn about a new country and its people through YFU exchange programs.
The videos should be no longer than three (3) minutes and will be judged on originality, creativity and overall quality.
Prize winners will receive travel gift certificates (1st place: of US$1500, 2nd place: US$1000, 3rd place: US$500). In addition, recognition awards will be given to winners in special categories.
The contest officially opened February 1, 2010 and closes July 1, 2010. Winners will be announced November 1, 2010.
