2009 International Video Contest Winner
Have you been wondering about the YFU International Video Contest held earlier this year?
In October, after the YFU International Conference the winner was announced – it’s an original song sang and performed by Sharon from Fremont, CA who went to Japan in 2008.

2010 YFU International Video Contest Announced
Youth For Understanding will be launched the second annual worldwide online video contest for YFU program participants, past and present. The theme of the contest is My World of YFU
Students, alumni, host families and volunteers throughout the YFU community are invited to submit videos, which will put into pictures, sounds and music, exactly what it is to learn about a new country and its people through YFU exchange programs.
The videos should be no longer than three (3) minutes and will be judged on originality, creativity and overall quality.
Prize winners will receive travel gift certificates (1st place: of US$1500, 2nd place: US$1000, 3rd place: US$500). In addition, recognition awards will be given to winners in special categories.
The contest officially opens February 1, 2010 and closes July 1, 2010. Winners will be announced November 1, 2010.
