Outreach Coordinator - Saginaw, MI
Role: The outreach coordinator serves as a professional representative for YFU and reports to the Senior Director, International Student Programs.  Responsibilities include: support program benchmarks; promote programmatic offerings, and conduct creative outreach to generate leads for new participants within target communities.  The outreach coordinator will collaborate with other field based sales staff and the YFU Marketing Department to execute plans to improve YFU’s visibility through all forms of relationship and community building in addition to engagement via social media within the target markets.
Field Director - Great Lakes - Home Based

Role: This position manages the overall success for recruitment needs of YFU programs by developing and growing vibrant YFU communities, increasing market share for both inbound and outbound program participants within assigned field boundaries to meet set benchmarks and goals.  A Field Director shall possess the ability to successfully lead, motivate, delegate, empower and engage people. The Field Director is a community organizer and strong networker, an interactive, confident communicator who displays a positive attitude, with a creative nature and an entrepreneurial approach utilizing excellent persuasion skills.


Host Family Recruiter (Home Based) Multiple Positions Available

Role: Description: Independent Contractor responsible for recruiting American families to host high school aged (15-18 year old) international exchange students for one year in the family's home and potentially coordinate an open school slot in the family's vicinity.

Support Services Manager (Headquarters)

Role: Based on the mission and goals set by Youth For Understanding USA, the Support Services Manager (SSM) provides support, training and guidance to students, hosts, schools and volunteers in the Central, Mountain and Pacific time zones. This position is based in the Washington, DC office. The working hours for this position will be 11:45 am. - 7:00 pm to correspond with the Mountain and Pacific time zones. This position reports to the Director of Support Services.
